About
We got tired of albums that decide for you.
Most photo album tools start from a template and ask you to make your trip fit it — twenty fixed pages, photos cropped to squares, captions picked from a dropdown. The album ends up looking like everyone else's, just with different pictures dropped in.
MemoraBooks starts from the opposite end. You upload what you actually took, in whatever number, and the album is built around that — full photos, no forced crops, and as many pages as the trip needs. A theme gives you a starting point, not a cage; every layout, page order, and caption stays yours to change after.
We're building this first for two kinds of albums people actually make — the trip you just got back from, and the first year of a baby's life — because both deserve better than a generic template, and both get looked at on a phone far more than on a laptop. Everything we build is judged against that: does it hold up on a 6-inch screen, in someone's hand, months after the trip is over.
What we won't do
We won't crop your photos.
Every photo shows complete, exactly as you took it. If a layout can't fit a photo without cropping it, that layout doesn't ship.
We won't sell you a fixed page count.
Albums are as long as your photos need them to be — not a 20-page or 40-page package with photos left over.
We won't touch AI without asking.
Every AI feature is opt-in and labelled. You can build a complete album having never used one.
We won't bake edits into your originals.
Filters and adjustments are stored as instructions, not burned into the file. Your original photo is always still there underneath.
