Album styles

thirteen ways to dress the same book.

A style here never decides your layout. That's still computed from your own photos every time, how many, what shape, what order. What you're picking on this page is the dressing: the cover, the page borders, the type. Every image below is a screenshot of the real builder, not a mockup.

Same photos. Same layout. Every style.

One album, cycling through the styles on the Cover step. Watch the photograph: it doesn't move, doesn't crop and doesn't resize. Only the dressing changes. That's the difference between a style and a template, a template would have moved your photos to fit itself.

Held still, so you can name them

Trip albums: nine styles

Four are built around a kind of place, so they're shown with photos of it. Four are just a look, and work with anything.

Default cover, on a real album

Default

No dressing at all. The photo runs to the edge and the page gets out of the way. Pick this if you want the pictures to be the only thing on the page.

Classic cover, on a real album

Classic

A plain cream ground and a torn-paper frame. Quiet, and it won't look dated in ten years.

Classic Flat cover, on a real album

Classic Flat

One photograph across the whole front cover and another across the back, edge to edge, with your title laid over it. Inside, plain white pages — with a little air between the photos, or none at all if you would rather they met. Pick this when the pictures should be the only thing on the book.

Heritage cover, on a real album

Heritage

Painted arches and gold leaf, drawn from Rajasthani miniature work. Built for forts, palaces and old cities.

Tropical cover, on a real album

Tropical

Shells, palm fronds and a scalloped frame. Beaches, islands and long slow afternoons.

Urban cover, on a real album

Urban

A skyline band and hard edges. Cities, architecture and nights that ran late.

Travel Journal cover, on a real album

Travel Journal

A scrapbook, stamps, a compass, postcards taped to the page. The busiest of the set, and the most fun.

Vintage Keepsake cover, on a real album

Vintage Keepsake

Sepia film strips and old photo corners. Makes a trip from last month look like one you found in a drawer.

Baby albums: four styles

All three shown on the same album, for the same reason as above, with a baby album the style is a mood, not a place.

You don't have to decide now.

Upload your photos first. The style is one click on the Cover step and you can change it as many times as you like, the album underneath doesn't move.
