Questions people actually ask.
Will my photos get cropped?
No. Every layout is built to fit your photos' real proportions — landscape, portrait, square, all of it. If a layout can't fit a photo without cropping it, we don't use that layout for that photo.
How many photos can I use?
As many as your trip or year actually produced. There's no fixed page count or photo cap — the album is as long as it needs to be.
Do I have to pick a theme first?
No — each segment (trip or baby) has one considered visual style already. You start uploading immediately; see the style each one uses on the Album styles page.
What do I actually get at the end?
A print-quality PDF of your finished album, and optionally a short keepsake video reel — both downloaded straight from the browser.
Can I get a printed, bound copy?
Not yet — that's the next thing we're building. See Pricing for where that stands.
Do I need an account?
Not to build one — you can upload, arrange, and download without signing in. Sign in only if you want to save your progress and come back to it later, from My Albums.
Where are my photos stored?
See the Privacy Panel for the full plain-language answer — short version: a private storage bucket, only accessible by you, deleted when you delete the album.
Does this use AI?
Not yet, in this version. When AI features do ship, each one will be opt-in and labelled, not silently on by default.
